Last year when I dressed up as a LOLcat for Halloween, I thought I was doing so at the apex of the fad. I never would have thought that over a year later I'd still be checking I Can Has Cheezburger on a regular basis.
Yet there I was today, and I saw a LOLcat that made me actually LOL.
Then I remembered the adorable vintage postcard that someone found in a thrift store and sent to ICHC. It may be the earliest LOLcat!
Conclusion: LOLcats were, are, and will forever be awesome and hilarious.
